Sisters Voice Music is a women's musician community, workshop and concert series. A grassroots initiation: a basic band with open jam, community-building improv music games and room concert programs. Their events are dog-friendly, kid-friendly, mom-friendly and vega/vegan-friendly.
Sisters Voice started in January 2022 in the Manyi’s community center and then moved to Ellátó. By April the basic band of 9 people was formed. Sisters Voice have had a total of about 40 events so far: own concerts and jam sessions, appeared at exhibitions, women's open-jam in Vienna, HUG handpan and Organix festivals. In the last year and a half, approx. 60 female musicians performed in their programs.
Founder-main organizer: Szilvia Tóth (HUG Festival co-organizer), co-founders: Telma Lincoln (Ghanaian-Hungarian singer, eco-vegan mother of three; Anima Sounds System, G Ras & Planeteerz) and Boglárka Báthory (saxophone, vocals; 30 degrees in the shade, Magácska)
At the Everness Festival, Sisters Voice musicians will be Telma Lincoln (vocals), Bernadett Ditrói (handpan), Alexandra Szabó (keyboards, midi) and Marlia Coeur (handpan, vocals, guitar) joined by members of the acoustic reggae formation I-Soulation, the singer-activist with G Ras (drums) and Dávid Öllős (guitar). The group will play their own songs and covers. count on family-friendly music with a positive atmosphere and message every day at the entrance to Siófok camping.
